Ever Evolving (and an update)

First, I would like to apologise for being away from our little corner of the internet for a few weeks.  It was completely unexpected, hence there was no warning, but I promise I will do my best to catch up on all the wonderful posts I know you guys have penned in my absence.  Thank you all for continuing to pop by, read / like / comment on older posts and for emails duly sent.  Your support, as always, is deeply appreciated and humbles me.

A lesson that has made itself known over the past weeks, almost constantly it seems, is the reminder that things are always changing, nothing is static.  We ourselves are ever-evolving, growing and developing, becoming more aware and attune to everything that is around us, that is of course, if we allow ourselves to be.  Sometimes that means that we have to let go of the things that we might not necessarily want to let go of, for a short while or even permanently.  It may mean that we have to face that which we have been running from.  Differences may have to be reconciled in order for us to be able to let go and move forward.  Thoughts on a subject may alter or an area of our life may develop where before it felt stagnant. Or we may simply have to question the direction our life has taken and determine where it is we hope we are going…

The more we experience, the more we learn and with learning comes a greater sense of perception and understanding.  Isn’t that where the real magic lies?

In Ancient Woods – a poem

Something that came to me whilst walking in the woods this weekend just gone…the accompanying photos were taken on the same outing…I think there is something quite magical about these trees – they almost look like they are moving…dancing…

In ancient woods, my heart it dwells
Forever enchanted, caught by its spell
How long has it been?  I cannot tell
But amongst leaf and branch, I know all is well

A world of magic, beyond time and space
I have heard its breath, I have seen its face
Paths of leaves, skin of green lace
In ancient woods, I leave no trace

Tarot Reading for an Unknown Sitter (March 2013)

Disclaimer:  A tarot reading is for entertainment purposes only.  It is not a replacement for any form of professional advice or counselling, and I take no responsibility for whatever readers choose to do with the information below.

Any questions, please feel free to send me an email (sammiwitch@gmail.com) and I will do my best to answer them.

Here is the Tarot Reading for an Unknown Sitter for March…

Two of Cups is a card that can represent personal emotional balance as well as harmony and equality in a loving relationship.  It is a card that signifies a commitment of some kind, and suggests a time when affection abounds.  It can often indicate that a new relationship is on the horizon or that a new romantic interest will make itself known.  The Two of Cups is a positive card especially in terms of love and relationships, but also friendships and other partnerships.

Queen of Cups (reversed) at one extreme, may suggest that you will be suffering from mood swings, or be on the wrong end of someone else’s, this month.  On the other hand, you may find that your moods are changeable and you are feeling unsettled, for reasons you cannot explain.  Confidence in decisions you have or are making may waver as you struggle to see the right choice for yourself at this moment in time.

Prince of Pentacles can indicate that there will be slight improvements to be had this month.  This is an encouraging sign as it lets you know that you are moving in the right direction, and that your hard work is beginning to pay off.  You are getting closer to attaining a dream or ambition that you have been thinking about a lot lately, and perhaps questioning whether the sacrifices made are worthwhile.  This card encourages you to continue with what you have been doing, to ensure that you keep making these small, determined steps as they will all add up to something spectacular eventually.

Ace of Wands (reversed) warns of blocks to your creativity and perhaps a wavering in your determination towards a particular goal.  This may lead to feelings of impatience and frustration, and in extreme cases, questions such as ‘why bother?’, ‘what’s the point?’ may arise.  Delays are possible when this card is drawn, but it is worth remembering that you will still reach this goal.  It will only take a little longer to do it.  There is no mention of failure or disappointment here but perhaps by re-evaluating what is you want / where you want to go, you will see the path ahead more clearly.  Once you have redefined what your goal actually is, any feelings of frustration should dissipate is.

Death  Change and transformation are on the cards this month.  Something is about to come to an end.  This could be a happy ending, or it could be an unwanted ending, but whichever it is, a sense of finality and completion which prevail, leaving time and space for something new to come into your life.  Although there is often a certain amount of fear and apprehension surrounding this card, you should not despair.  Instead focus upon the new opportunities that will soon come your way, and all the benefits they may bring with them.

And there we have it.  As I said, any questions, please feel free to get in touch.

Go, with peace and love in your heart, and a smile on your face.

Wishing you all the Brightest of Blessings,

Sammi ~*~)O(~*~
