Wishing you all a Blessed Lughnasadh!

Firstly, I have been away for a few days this week, so again I am behind with posting, reading, liking and commenting.  Once the next issue of The Moonstone comes out tomorrow and things settle back down into their normal routine, I shall have more time to go back and check out all the great posts that I have missed! 🙂

So, where did we go?  We spent a couple of days in Shrewsbury, a gorgeous Tudor town in Shropshire, and for all those Ellis Peters fans out there, the home of Brother Cadfael.

Anyway, I shall probably get round to write a post or two about the trip to Shrewsbury and the other little places we visited on the way some time over the next couple of days.  Right now, I am off to listen to the thunderstorm, and enjoy a fish and chips supper with the family.

To round off this short post, I have included a photo of this year’s Lughnasadh biscuits, which were rather tasty, probably due to being covered in white chocolate:

Wishing you all a Blessed Lughnasadh!

Lughnasadh??????? Really????????? When? How? I have no idea where the time is disappearing to. I even get the days of the week wrong. Summer holiday with the kids has really knocked me sideways.

Shrewsbury looks very gorgeous. Can’t hear how it was there. Enjoy your thunderstorm. I would. 🙂
    Blessed be.
